Keep Your Computer Clean

Keep your computer clean:

• Remove temporary files from the C:\Windows\Temp folder
• Run MSCONFIG (Start | Run | type MSCONFIG) and uncheck programs you don't use. (You can also download Startup Cop for this purpose)
• Uninstall programs you no longer need
• Remove hardware that you no longer have
• Defrag the hard drive (Disk Cleanup in Windows XP)
• Clean out the Internet Explorer cache (Tools | Options | General tab | Delete Files)
